The year is 2065. The end of Earth and all its habitants is imminent. Using the world’s greatest technologies, a new generation of highly advanced, autonomous robotic vehicles is developed to explore new lands for human colonization.Inspired by legendary futurists such as Syd Mead (Blade Runner), German industrial designer and concept artist Christian Grajewski used his expert knowledge of automotive design and his fascination with animal anatomy to create fifteen stunning, interplanetary vehicles. Each varies in size and technological capabilities, yet they are unified by one overarching goal: to preserve the human race. From the stealth rotorcraft Hornet to the massive space transporter Orca, the designs of Explorer were fueled by Grajewski’s deep desire to launch vehicles beyond Earth’s solar system. He drew from his professional experience working on the design team at Volkswagen Design Center Potsdam, where he developed concepts for such carmakers as Lamborghini, Audi, and Bentley. Explorer compiles Grajewski’s early sketches, wondrous renderings, and design reflections that together make a case for historic multinational cooperation and the incredible innovations such collaborations can achieve.

LYCAR, Land Yacht Carriage concept! I wanted to learn Blender for quite a while now, and finaly I was able to start learning it from mid January of and on. When going through some of my very old sketches, I found this 14 years old concept idea I came up with in the final days of being a student. I decided it has to be my first proper Blender polygon model. It was at that time inspired by Daniel Simon and his book Cosmic Motors! 14 years later, I did publish my own book EXPLORER with Design Studio Press, and I am finally able to visualize everything I do have in my head :D. I did push the concept very cosmic so it fits to my universe, a place and future we can only dream of, and hopefully comes true one day : ) I definitely have to say, that the amazing Syd Mead was and still is a huge inspiration for me as well. He was the genius who inspired all of us!

Loki is a personal hover sci-fi “car concept vehicle”, build completely in Fusion 360. The alien world landscape renders are done in Cinema4D and rendered with Octane. The creature designs are as well my own creations and build in ZBrush.

The Cobra RoboMoto, Moto AI motorcycle street racer concept. I always wanted to design a bike, so I decided to do two , a cross motorbike the Armadillo and this street racer. But, I wanted to push expectations a bit, so I decided to get rid of the human driver! Similar to what Roborace did with the race car. This opened up tons of new design possibilities. The idea is, to be able to drive the bike via VR on a real race track or just watch the AI bike race on its own without any human control. See if you can beat the AI mode!
This project was done during my current sabbatical. Which I took, to learn a lot of new things, and push myself towards new adventures...

My design goal was, to keep the Spaceship as realistic as possible.

The swan is a futuristic space shuttle concept. It is a vast earth to space carrier concept ship.

Boomer is a military completely autonomous combat drone, aircraft, spaceship design

The Falcon is a troop helicarrier concept AI Drone for my personal Project, it is inspired by the Dyson ventilator, which has no rotor Blades.
The carrier can transport up to 40 people plus equipment and is almost silent.

The Hornet is a futuristic one person helicopter concept. Due to a computer in your brain, called “Mindcom”, we don´t need any kind of steering devise or hard interface anymore. You can overwrite reality with it and look through walls, if there is a camera. The Hornet is part of my personal Project.

The Goose is a two seater earth to space vessel. It is used to reach orbiting space stations and later on to go from the planet Aion to the mother ship OUREA.

Education Units/ Edubots, are responsible for the clones aboard the Ourea. It is their task to raise and educate the 1000 clones on their way to our new home, Aion... The Edubot skin is a highly flexible and resistant polymer, similar to our skin but much better. So say hello to Volta
